Low Pressure Burners

Low Pressure Burners use either Natural Gas or Low Pressure Propane.  Low Pressure Propane is at 10.5" Water Column or 6 ounces.  We recommend using our COM5 Low Pressure Gas Regulator.

LPCAST8-2 - Low Pressure Propane or Natural Gas Two-Part Cast Iron Burner, 8" Diameter - Adjustable Length Neck and Height, a Home Brewer Burner Favorite

  • Produces up to 80,000 BTU/hr in an evenly-directed manner.
  • Designed for cooks who want more btu/hr from a low pressure cast.
  • A unique burner ideal for applications where the venturi is needed to be placed farther away from the burner. Minimum distance of 4". The ideal versatile burner for custom Brewstands.
  • Flame can be controlled down to a low simmer.
  • Best working distance is 2" from top of cast to bottom of pot.
  • The distance between the burner head and venturi is determined by the length of the 1 1/4" black pipe nipple used. Pipe nipple must be at least 4" long. Pipe nipple NOT included.
  • Burner head and venturi have 1 1/4" female normal pipe thread inlets.
  • Includes air shutter, Insect Screen Guard and a 90° 3/8" flare Orifice.A 180° 3/8" flare fitting is also available upon request.
  • The burner head has a bottom center bolt which is a 6mm in diameter
  • Burner head diameter is 8", height from base to top of burner is 6".
