PRIVACY POLICY

 

Tejas Smokers takes the utmost care in protecting the privacy of our customers and online shoppers. Our Credit Card Payment Processor is PayPal, who we believe offers the highest level of credit card processing security available. Paypal handles all the credit card information. Our entire website AND shopping cart operate under a 256-bit Secure Socket Layer technology which is at the highest current level of encryption available. We do not rent or sell any personal information. We do not send advertising emails or solicitations of any kind. Customer shipping/ billing address data are accessed only by those directly involved in the actual processing of the order. We do not store any credit card numbers.



SMOKER PIT FIREBOX LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY


Tejas Smokers offers a limited lifetime warranty against the firebox burnout on their smoker pit products. This warranty does not apply if the smoker pit has not been used and properly maintained in accordance with the product instructions. Tejas Smokers reserves the sole right to repair or replace any Tejas Smokers smoker pit presented to them which they deem to defective. Tejas Smokers also reserves the sole right to distinguish between burn-out, rust, misuse, or problems arising from lack of normal maintenance.                                    Paint is not warranted. Proof of purchase by way of the original purchase receipt is required from Tejas Smokers directly.                  Warranty coverage does not extend to products sold by vendors, second hand smoker pits or shipped outside of the continental U.S.      This warranty is not transferable.



TERMS OF SERVICE, SALES POLICY, and RETURNS


Each product is fully guaranteed by the manufacturer and we will gladly work with the customer to resolve any issue. The manufacturer's warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts. On most items Tejas Smokers offers a 14-day exchange/refund policy for products which have not been used. A 20% restocking fee will be applied. We do not accept items returned more than 14 days after delivery. Smoker pits, grills, pit covers, burners, gas regulators, gas hoses, cooker stands, or other products that show signs of wear, installation, or use are not acceptable for credit, refund, or exchange. Dust Caps, Dust Plugs, and the Ashcroft Low Pressure Test Gauges are not eligible for return or exchange. Brass Fittings which are eligible for return are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Custom manufactured hoses, custom modified products, drilled orifice fittings, or other custom manufactured items are not returnable. Items returned must be in original packaging and returned at customers expense. Shipping charges are not refundable.


Your credit card is charged automatically at the time you place your order. No items may be returned for credit, refund, or exchange without prior consent of Tejas Smokers. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which attempts to cover our costs in regards to originally processing, packaging, and shipping the item by USPS, FedEx, or UPS. Most items, except Smoker Pits and Grills, are sold at a price which already includes free shipping to the customer. A Return Authorization number (RA#) may be obtained by calling           Tejas Smokers (713)-222-0077 or emailing us at info@tejassmokers.com. You will be given instructions on where to send the returned merchandise. An RA# in and of itself does not guarantee final disposition. All returns are subject to inspection. Customers are responsible for shipping charges on alternate merchandise originating from an exchange request.


It is the responsibility of the customer to pack the returned materials in a manner to insure safe transit. Merchandise returned to           Tejas Smokers without authorization will be refused. We will not accept C.O.D. or freight collect shipments. We suggest that small items be shipped UPS Ground Service "Insured".
